“HEAD” : Mid-Century Abstract Expressionist Oil on Canvas by NEWTON ROWELL BOWLES (1916-2012). Listed Canadian artist. Painted in 1959. This painting was exhibited at The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 1961. Bowles was also a recipient of The Order of Canada for his legendary lifetime of service as a UN adviser.
