MIDCENTURY ROYALS: Exceptional Pair of Crackle Glazed Ceramic Faux Ostrich Egg Designed Lamps on Polished Solid Brass Bases. 1950s-60s. Provenance: THE ROYAL SUITE, Royal York Hotel. Everything about the design and quality of these lamps is top notch. Possibly French and made in the manner of MAISON CHARLES. They were part of the decor in one of the two bedrooms of the 2470 square foot suite which has been occupied by Queen E II, the Obama's, many other heads of state and celebs.
