Original JAMES HARRIS HARTMAN acrylic on canvas landscape painting titled: EDGE OF THE FIELDS, 2015. Signed to the lower right and a certificate of authenticity is included. Hartman is based in Burlingame, California. He is renowned for his plein air paintings of the Northern California landscape. Unstretched.

ILLUSTRIOUS HISTORICAL PROVENANCE: "WITLEY COURT", Great Witley, Worcestershire England. 19th Century (1850-75) French Crackle Glazed Ceramic Oil Lamp with Bronze Doré Mounts converted to electricity. Made by NEUBURGER LAMPE, Paris. It, and many other French pieces were acquired for the last great renovation of this famed English country mansion. It was rescued from the great fire which destroys one wing of the enormous structure in 1937. Now on display for sale in my Toronto shop.
