Mid Century Modern (1960s to Early 70s) Space Age Picnic Ball Designed by HELEN PANTON KARTELL for GUZZINI. Made in Italy.

This iconic ball opens to reveal 6 large plates, 6 small plates, 6 bowls, 6 acrylic glasses with a serving tray, salt and pepper shakers, an oil and vinegar dispenser and a toothpick holder. The spherical two part caddy doubles as a salad bowl and ice bucket.
Completely intact and in great condition.
The case measures 10.5 inches (27 cm) cm in diameter by 9 inches (22.8 cm) tall (not including the height of the carrying handle).
