Three Original Fashion Illustrations Depicting Christian Dior´s "New Look" of 1947. Artist: Dorothy Broderick Moffatt, Hamilton, Ontario. Born in 1910
They are a rare find and a "must have" for Collectors of vintage fashion. Executed in pencil, ink, watercolor and gouache, they date between 1947 and 1948.
Dorothy Broderick Moffatt´s work is part of the Permanent Collection at the Art Gallery of Hamilton.

Born in 1900, Macedonia. Died in 1984, Toronto.
Peter Stoyan was a painter, graphic artist and illustrator. He emigrated to Canada in 1914 and studied art in Toronto at the Ontario College of Art, under George Reid, J.W. Beatty, Fred Haines, and Arthur Lismer. The Ontario Society of Artists and the Royal Canadian Academy included his works in their exhibitions from 1925. Stoyan also exhibited in N.Y.C. for several years in the 1930´s.
